Job description:

Job Title: Senior CNC Programmer

Department: CNC Machining / Manufacturing

Location: Perundurai, SIPCOT

Experience: 5+ years in CNC Programming & Machining

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and generate precise CNC programs using Mastercam (2D & 3D).
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with accuracy.
Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and fixtures based on job requirements.
Perform program proving, trial runs, and validate output on CNC milling and turning machines.
Optimize existing programs for cycle time, tool life, and machining quality.
Collaborate with machinists and operators to ensure smooth execution of operations.
Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement corrective actions.
Work towards continuous improvement in machining processes, quality, and productivity.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, UG/NX, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols.
Hands-on experience with tool selection, cutting data, and process planning.
Sound knowledge of CNC machining sequences, tooling, and workholding techniques.
Ability to conduct root-cause analysis for machining issues.
Familiarity with quality standards, 5S, and ISO procedures.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering.
Certification in CNC Programming is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
