CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will produce precision parts and components by setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines in compliance with company and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe/milling/turning/grinding) according to production specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup requirements. Load raw materials and tools into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping. Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or deviations, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality. Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specified dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards. Record daily production output, downtime, and issues in logbooks or digital systems. Collaborate with the production team and supervisors to meet production deadlines. Required Skills & Qualifications:ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or relevant technical qualification. Proven experience as a CNC machine operator or in a similar role. Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operation. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Proficient in using precision measuring tools and instruments. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
