Role & responsibilities Basic requirement for a CNC setter Cum programer Key points Education • A diploma or degree in mechanical engineering ( If ITI with Experienced CNC and VMC Programming, Process and Prove out) Experience • Knowledge Selecting tools, holders & jaws according to Drawing and took setting • Experience in choose calming type, orienting and jaws boring for new development parts • Experience operating machines, such as milling & turning machines • Knowledge of CNC programming or CAM software • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings • Experience setting and operating CNC lathes & VMC • Experience setting and operating CNC lathes Turn mill & VMC 4 th axis Skills • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings • Ability to set and operate CNC machines • Ability to Prove Out produce parts that are correct to the drawing • knowledge of manufacturing production and processes. Additional of below ( previous experience or quick learning capability ) Selection Of Tools in CNC & VMC Tools Knowledge of New Parts process sequence and operation sequence section Computer Skill Excel , Mail communication , PPT presentation AUTO CAD QA documents - OS or SOP , Control plan , QA Production documents like - Set up / First off , operator inspection 2D height gauge , profile projector, Air gauges measurements Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
