Job Overview:

Azure CloudOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident & Problem Management:

• Handle and resolve escalated technical issues from L1 support.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Experience using ITIL tools like

  ServiceNow

  .

• Azure Service Management:

• Manage and troubleshoot Azure services such as

  AKS

  ,

  Application Gateway

  ,

  WAF

  ,

  Azure SQL

  , and

  Azure Monitor

  .

• Infrastructure Monitoring:

• Monitor cloud infrastructure health and performance using

  Azure Monitor

  ,

  Grafana

  , and other tools.
• Provide proactive alerts and recommendations.

• Automation & Operations:

• Implement and maintain

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  using

  Terraform

  .
• Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Git runners) for automated deployments.

• Security & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements in Azure environments.

• Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work with cross-functional teams (networking, development, security).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Knowledge Transfer:

• Mentor L1 engineers and contribute to team capability building.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Azure Expertise:

  Hands-on experience with a broad range of Azure services.

• Certifications:

  Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305).

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in

  Terraform

  ,

  Kubernetes

  (including Helm Charts), and scripting languages (Python preferred).
• Experience with monitoring tools like

  Azure Monitor

  ,

  Grafana

  .

• Database Skills:

  Familiarity with

  Azure SQL

  and troubleshooting cloud databases.

• Problem-Solving:

  Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.

• Communication:

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service and collaboration.

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
