Job Description

Azure Cloud Architect

Exp - 9+

Location - Pune


Responsibilities

Cloud Strategy and Design

  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and applications for suitability in cloud migration.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Implementation and Deployment

  • Lead implementation of Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Configure and manage Azure resources: virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and identity/security.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and configuration processes.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex Azure infrastructure and deployment issues.

Security and Compliance

  • Implement Azure-native security best practices including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Ensure alignment with industry regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
  • Perform regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in cloud computing principles, architecture patterns, and services.
  • Hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of Azure services, including:

  • Compute:

    Azure VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, ARM Templates

  • Storage:

    Blob Storage, Azure Files, Managed Disks

  • Networking:

    Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Azure DNS, Azure Firewall

  • Databases:

    Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB

  • Security:

    Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud

  • Monitoring:

    Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using

    Terraform

    and/or

    ARM templates

    .
  • Strong understanding of Azure-native security controls and governance models.
  • Experience designing for compliance with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).

  • Certifications:

    Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred), or other relevant Azure certifications.
