Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A Cloud Sales Executive will sell cloud computing solutions by identifying potential clients, understanding their business needs, and negotiating contracts to close deals.
  • Key responsibilities include generating leads, managing the sales funnel, building strong client relationships, collaborating with technical teams, and forecasting sales.
  • Strong candidates possess proven sales experience, Good knowledge of cloud services, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and outbound calling as well as walk-in in your designated areas.
  • Understand customer business needs and challenges to qualify leads.

Solution Development & Presentation:

  • Work with technical teams to design and present customized cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Effectively communicate the technical and business benefits of cloud services.

Sales & Account Management:

  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system for accurate lead and opportunity tracking.

Client & Partner Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendor and channel partners to enable and support sales initiatives.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and revenue targets.
  • Provide Daily/weekly pipeline reports and performance updates.

Industry Awareness:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, cloud technology advancements, and competitive products.

Experience:

  • Proven sales experience in

    cloud computing or the related industry

    , with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with major cloud service provider platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Private Cloud).

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A customer-centric and results-driven approach.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical, sales, and marketing team
