A Project Manager within xDC India at SoftwareOne is responsible for leading professional services engagements related to Cloud Services viz. Azure, AWS and/or Digital Workplace (M365) Project Managers need to ensure assigned projects meet scope, schedule, milestones, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and executing projects as per the SoftwareOne Project Delivery Framework alongside any other processes, procedures and guidelines established by the Local Country/Region. The Project Manager organizes the Sales to Delivery handover with the Account Manager, BDEs and Delivery Consultants involved and then lead and support the project team for successful delivery. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for governing the financials and profit margin of the engagement. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, managing & controlling projects as well as communication on all aspects of the assigned project within the scope, time, cost and quality thresholds set The Project Manager facilitates the development of the project artefacts and other deliverables in collaboration with the project team The Project Manager facilitates regular project team meetings to review risks & issues and monitor project health and progress using standard templates as per the PMO guidelines The Project Manager creates regular Project Status Reports and distributes them to external and internal stakeholders The Project Manager mentors other junior team members and assists them with their professional development The Project Manager is responsible for directly managing multiple projects in parallel, across different service lines within SoftwareONE targeting more than 75% chargeability on projects The Project Manager manages first level to mid-level client delivery relationships and resolve conflicts The Project Manager ensures team members support knowledge sharing and leverage the learnings from other projects The Project Manager raises Change Requests proactively, external or internal, and ensures governance around planned vs. actual variance w.r.t schedule, effort, cost, etc. The Project Manager support project administration activities on SwoDP [SoftwareONE Delivery Platform] tool as needed The Project Manager follows all guidelines w.r.t effort/time logging & approval on weekly basis, and proactively before the monthly cut-off timelines The Project Manager forecasts the monthly revenue recognized on every project and ensures successful completion of Month End Closing activity for all assigned projects as per the guidelines The Project Manager sets and ensures achievement of bi-annual goals w.r.t Performance, Development and Organization Total experience not more than 12 years, preferably from a large service organization implementing complex IT solutions 5-8 years’ experience in core Project Management role and/or holding a PMP/Prince 2 Practitioner certification. (If certification is not held, the candidate should qualify for the certification requirements and complete the certification by 1st year of employment) Well versed in creating Project Plans using Microsoft Project Professional (MPP) Worked on projects based on Azure or AWS or M365 such as Landing Zone build, server migration, database migration, tenant to tenant migration, Intune set up, GSuite to M365 migration, etc. Candidates with technical certifications preferred e.g., AWS cloud practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, M365 Fundamentals, Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, etc Experience in using tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Planner, Smartsheet and/or other project governance tools Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Experience working in a consulting environment Structured, organized, proactive, disciplined, and methodical in completing every action
