Cloud Network Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities Assist in the design, deployment, and management of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) network services, including: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, load balancers, Cloud DNS, and Cloud VPN. Implement and maintain network security configurations in GCP, following best practices and compliance requirements. Contribute to automating network provisioning and configuration using Terraform . Monitor GCP network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure minimal downtime. Collaborate with application development teams to optimize network connectivity and performance for cloud-based applications. Support integration of on-premises networks with GCP using VPNs or interconnect solutions. Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls to maintain network security and access control. Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate network tasks and improve operational efficiency. Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking , or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration. Strong understanding of fundamental networking concepts and protocols including: uting, switching, VLANs, etc. Hands-on experience configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls , including configuration and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Python scripting for network automation and operational tasks. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and services . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
