Must Have Skills:
• 10+ Years of experience in Linux/Unix, AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud, DevOps, and Container ecosystems.
• 5+ Years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (control plane, data plane, Docker) – deploying, managing, and scaling both on-prem and in cloud.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation with Python.
• Experience with Istio/Consul and Helm charts.
• Hands-on experience in setting up monitoring and observability for Kubernetes (Prometheus, ELK, Fluentbit, Grafana, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Experience with API Gateways (Kong preferred), Kafka, and event-driven microservices architecture.
• Strong scripting experience (Python, Shell, etc.).
• Knowledge of RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Exposure to GitOps, CI/CD, and SRE practices.
Good to Have Skills:
• Experience in building distributed, multi-region Kubernetes clusters.
• Hands-on experience with Tanzu and VMware Virtualization.
• Understanding of container security (image, pod, network).
• Solid knowledge of networking/firewall and storage within Kubernetes environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production systems.
