Job Summary:

Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Architecture:

  Develop and implement cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) aligned with business needs and best practices.

• Infrastructure Management:

  Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and storage systems (cloud and on-prem).

• Automation & DevOps:

  Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and management.

• Monitoring & Performance:

  Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure uptime and performance (using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

• Security & Compliance:

  Ensure security best practices, access control, and compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.).

• Disaster Recovery & Backup:

  Design and maintain backup and DR strategies to ensure business continuity.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with DevOps, development, and IT operations teams to support deployments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

• Cost Optimization:

  Monitor and optimize cloud spend, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 3–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering roles.
  
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, firewalls, load balancing).
  
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  
• Solid understanding of Linux/Windows administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  
• Experience with monitoring tools and security frameworks.
