Cloud Engineering Architect

As a Cloud Engineering Architect at our organization, you will play a crucial role in leading our cloud transformation initiatives. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing our advanced cloud-based data platform to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a robust background in distributed computing, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps practices. - Design and implement cloud-native solutions based on distributed computing principles - Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints, best practices, and governance frameworks - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align cloud strategy with business goals - Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability - Mentor and guide cloud engineers in best practices and implementation - Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their impact To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in product-based companies, including at least 5 years in cloud architecture and engineering. Deep expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP is required, along with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and other DevOps tools. Hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions with a focus on AWS, proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, and a background in Linux/Windows environments and cloud security principles are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect), experience with Databricks, ETL tools, Python, and NoSQL databases, knowledge of serverless computing and event-driven architectures, as well as an understanding of data governance and compliance in cloud environments.
