Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Management : Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Cloud Architecture : Develop and optimize cloud architecture to meet business requirements for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization. Automation and Orchestration : Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar. Deployment and CI/CD : Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure the smooth deployment of applications and services in the cloud. Security & Compliance : Ensure that the cloud infrastructure adheres to security best practices and compliance standards, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and vulnerability management. Cost Optimization : Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high performance. Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Implement cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to detect and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Collaboration : Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to design, deploy, and support cloud-based solutions. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications: Cloud Platform Expertise : Proven experience with AWS , Microsoft Azure , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Cloud Architecture : Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based systems with a focus on scalability, availability, and fault tolerance. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficient in tools like Terraform , CloudFormation , or ARM Templates for automating infrastructure deployment and management. DevOps Practices : Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerization (Docker), and container orchestration (Kubernetes). Networking : Solid knowledge of cloud networking concepts such as VPC , subnets , VPNs , and firewalls . Programming/Scripting : Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automating tasks and managing cloud resources. Security : Experience with securing cloud environments using tools such as IAM , encryption , and network security best practices . Database Management : Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS , Azure SQL Database , Google Cloud SQL ). Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. Monitoring Tools : Experience with cloud monitoring tools like CloudWatch , Azure Monitor , Prometheus , or similar. Preferred Qualifications: Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect , Azure Solutions Architect Expert , Google Professional Cloud Architect ). Familiarity with serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Experience with containerization and microservices architecture. Strong understanding of cloud cost management and optimization. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira . Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving.
