We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, and ensure high availability across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code tools, and cloud-native DevOps practices. Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and optimize release cycles
- Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and availability across cloud environments
- Configure and manage cloud networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and VPNs
- Implement and maintain cloud security policies, including IAM, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures
- Support hybrid/multi-cloud environments, including Azure services as needed
- Optional: Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS)
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices, including IAM and VPC configuration
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
