Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, scripting, and automation, with a focus on designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: Azure Cloud Solutions Development & Management: Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure using core services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory. Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions in Azure environments. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for consistent and repeatable cloud deployments. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to define and manage infrastructure blueprints. Cloud Security & Governance: Apply cloud security best practices including network segmentation, identity and access management, encryption at rest and in transit, and security policy enforcement. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards. Scripting and Automation: Automate routine operational tasks using PowerShell , Python , or Bash . Develop custom scripts to support application deployments, resource provisioning, and monitoring workflows. CI/CD & DevOps Enablement: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps , integrating build, test, and deployment processes for both infrastructure and application code. Work with development teams to streamline deployment strategies and ensure repeatable and consistent releases. Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Management: Configure and manage Azure Monitor , Log Analytics , and Application Insights to gain visibility into application and infrastructure performance. Create dashboards and alerts to proactively address performance bottlenecks and system anomalies. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, architects, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust cloud solutions. Maintain thorough documentation of architecture designs, procedures, standards, and configurations. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect. Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS). Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and on-prem to Azure migrations. Show more Show less
