What are we looking for:

• We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure using IaC principles to ensure that our cloud environments are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. You will work with other engineers and teams to build, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions across multiple cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Implementation:

  Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  Build, manage, and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to ensure that they are scalable, resilient, and cost- effective.

• Automation:

  Automate cloud resource provisioning, deployment, and management to reduce manual intervention and improve system reliability.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and requirements.

• Cloud Security:

  Implement cloud security best practices by designing and enforcing security policies for cloud infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Monitoring & Optimization:

  Implement monitoring solutions to track cloud infrastructure performance and work on cost optimization strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation for IaC deployments, cloud configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Disaster Recovery & Backup:

  Implement and manage disaster recovery plans for cloud infrastructure to ensure business continuity.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Stay updated with the latest developments in cloud technologies, IaC tools, and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure automation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their services.
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Experience with automation and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and managing cloud resources (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, Security Groups).
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and the ability to implement secure cloud infrastructures.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross- functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with IaC tools.
