Job Description

Role & responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Management : Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Deployment and Automation : Help automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and updates using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform , CloudFormation , or Ansible . Monitoring and Performance Optimization : Collaborate in monitoring cloud resources, ensuring systems are performing efficiently, and identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks. Security and Compliance : Implement and monitor security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security for cloud environments. Troubleshooting and Support : Assist in troubleshooting issues in the cloud environment, investigate incidents, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Collaboration with Teams : Work closely with development, operations, and IT teams to optimize cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Documentation : Help document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across teams. Cloud Services Integration : Assist in integrating various cloud services, such as storage, databases, and networking services, with cloud-based applications. Stay Current on Cloud Technologies : Keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends, and propose improvements to the infrastructure. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Cloud Platform Experience : Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) , Microsoft Azure , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Networking Fundamentals : Understanding of basic networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, load balancing, and subnetting. Programming/Scripting : Experience with scripting languages like Python , Bash , or PowerShell to automate tasks. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Basic experience with IaC tools like Terraform , AWS CloudFormation , or Ansible . Linux/Unix : Proficiency in using Linux /Unix-based systems, as many cloud environments run on Linux. Version Control Systems : Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration. Containers : Basic knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (a plus). Security Awareness : Understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement solutions quickly
