Cloud Data Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Cloud Data Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based data solutions. You will play a key role in transforming business requirements into technical data architectures using modern cloud and big data technologies. Primary skill Need a strong Data Architect; Proficiency in GCP with BigQuery OR AWS with S3/Redshift OR Azure Cloud with Data Factory; Experience in designing scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines, data lakes, data modelling and data warehouses.; Knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-RDBMS (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Familiarity with tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Snowflake.; Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other relevant languages for data processing and automation. Key Responsibilities: Design and build robust data architectures on cloud platforms. Develop scalable data pipelines, lakes, and warehouses. Model data using star/snowflake schema for analytics and BI. Work with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other big data tools. Provide technical leadership and mentor team members. Must-Have Skills: Cloud Platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure, with cloud-native services like BigQuery, S3, Blob Storage Data Engineering: Expert in data modeling, data lakes, and warehouse design Big Data: Strong in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink Databases: Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra). Programming: Python, Java, Scala, and SQL for ETL/ELT. Security: Knowledge of data privacy laws, encryption, and access control. Preferred Qualifications: Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience in large-scale cloud migration Familiarity with emerging data engineering and analytics tools.
