Cloud Solution Design: Architect and design cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) based on client needs, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and execute cloud strategies and roadmaps that support client objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal use of cloud services. Cloud Migrations: Lead cloud migration initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition of on-premises infrastructure and applications to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Presales & RFP Responses: Collaborate with the sales and business development teams during the presales process. Contribute to the development of high-quality RFP responses, proposals, and presentations that effectively communicate technical solutions, timelines, and value propositions to potential clients. Attend client meetings to gather technical requirements, explain proposed cloud architectures, and address client concerns during the presales phase. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development, operations, and engineering teams. Define best practices for cloud architecture, security, and compliance. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop solutions that meet those requirements. Automation & Optimization: Design and implement automation frameworks to streamline cloud operations, optimize performance, and reduce operational overhead. Monitoring & Governance: Establish governance frameworks and monitoring tools to oversee the health and performance of cloud environments, ensuring high availability and reliability. Cost Management: Implement cost-management strategies to optimize cloud spend and deliver cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance. Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.) are highly desirable. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and design. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or others. Strong understanding of infrastructure (compute, storage, networking), DevOps practices, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Proven experience with cloud migration, hybrid environments, and microservices architecture. Experience in presales activities , including responding to RFPs , preparing technical proposals, and supporting sales teams in client presentations. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless architectures. Strong experience with automation, configuration management, and monitoring tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Nagios). Expertise in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (IAC) practices.
