Cloud Architect, DevOps with hands on coding in Python, Ruby, Go

As a Cloud Architect and DevOps professional, you will be responsible for hands-on coding in Python, Ruby, and Go languages. This role, based in Gurgaon, requires 10-16 years of experience in the IT industry. Joining as a Technical Architect/Senior Technical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in a global team focusing on DevOps practices. Your primary responsibilities will involve coding in Ruby, Python, and Go language, with a work ratio of 70% towards coding and 30% towards managerial tasks. Your role as a Cloud Operations Engineer will involve collaborating with a global team to engineer and support various cloud-based core services. You will be crucial in ensuring the AWS platform remains supportable, flexible, and aligned with the original design operative principles. Additionally, you will provide 3rd line operational platform support for all AWS services and environments. Being a strong development or infrastructure senior engineer, you will possess excellent knowledge of creating and managing continuous delivery pipelines. Your expertise will guide others on architectural and strategic initiatives, emphasizing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and software engineering as a craft. We seek a versatile engineer with exposure to networking, virtualization, and security aspects who can work collaboratively with the Cloud Engineers. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the AWS community and your area of expertise is essential. Your ability to mentor and train others, along with your forward-thinking approach, will make you a valuable asset to our team. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required. To stand out, you should have demonstrable knowledge of Extreme Programming (XP) and a keen interest in personal development. Familiarity with Layer 2-7 networking principles, load balancers, IP addressing, firewalls, SDNs, Information Security, Data Privacy, and regulatory compliance will be advantageous. Your technical skillset should include expertise in Cloud, DevOps, Automation, TDD, AWS Automation, and related technologies. A degree in B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc, MCA, B.E, or B.Tech is preferred.
