Position Clinical Specialist Location Kochi, Kannur - Kerala Gender Male Qualification Bsc., Dialysis Technician. Contact Person: Niranjana (HR) - 8951747266 The Job Roles requires the incumbent to do the following activities: The candidate should be able to travel to both hospitals and patients' homes. The candidate should preferably have a two-wheeler for easier transportation. Initial education of patients on the renal replacement therapy Flushing at Catheter Insertion Train patients/care giver on the process of peritoneal dialysis and education on how to avoid infection Visit patients for follow up and undertake a complete re call of the patients compliance to earlier instruction Observe the exchange procedure being undertaken by care taker / patient Guide the patient / care taker through the entire process of peritoneal dialysis exchange including room set up, hand washing, exit site care, dressing and actual exchange Prepare a detailed note on observations including biochemistry reports and share with care taker/ patient and clinical TL Plan for patient file discussion with Doctors Conduct patient programme like fluid management, correct exchange procedure, hand hygienic and room set etc.
