Job Description

Role Summary The Clinical Support Specialist for India at Align Technology will be responsible for driving the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual clinical plans and sales targets by partnering closely with the sales team to provide intensive clinical support to customers. This role will manage assigned accounts and internal teams, develop clinical strategies, and ensure high-quality clinical support to dental professionals. Key Responsibilities Achievement of Clinical and Sales Targets Collaborate with sales teams to visit and support customers requiring intensive clinical assistance. Develop, motivate, and guide the clinical team and assigned accounts within Align Technology India to meet clinical plans and sales targets. Identify and remove obstacles to success by assisting dental professionals with case assessments, record taking, ClinCheck usage, troubleshooting aligner-related issues, and reviewing initial ClinChecks of newly trained doctors. Transfer complex cases to clinical consultants when expert advice is needed. Prepare and provide clinical materials for dental professionals. Communicate clinical support issues internally and report weekly and monthly customer feedback to the Clinical Support Manager. Contribute to building and sustaining a high-performance clinical support team in India. Driving Best Outcomes Deliver clinical and product training to assigned accounts, India team members, distributors, and external customers. Provide ongoing coaching and education to the sales and marketing teams, especially during new product launches. Build strong ethical relationships with customers, promoting product usage and expanding market share through high-value activities. Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance at all times. Monitor competitor activities and update the India Marketing Manager with market intelligence. Lead clinical-related sales and marketing initiatives, such as mentorship and smile programs. Maintain quality records and document customer product feedback for the Indian market. Travel as required to support clinical activities and customer engagement. Lock in Key Relationships Engage certified Invisalign providers and cultivate potential new users to expand Invisalign case submissions. Identify and develop non-certified doctors to become Invisalign providers. Plan and manage clinical events and speaker engagements aligned with market needs and educational pathways. Coordinate with the India team on event preparation, follow-up, and feedback reporting. Qualifications and Skills Graduate of Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Minimum 2 years of experience working in a corporate environment, preferably related to clinical dental support or training. Experience in training dentists or orthodontists. Proficient in English with excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clinical and sales teams as well as external customers. Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
