Job Description

  • A client service officer's job is to act as the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and building relationships through various channels like phone, email, and in-person interactions. Key responsibilities include processing orders, providing product information, managing client accounts and records, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments for resolution. The role also involves analyzing feedback to improve service quality and working with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Key responsibilities
  • Client communication: Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing information about products and services.
  • Problem resolution: Address and resolve client complaints, service issues, and payment discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Account management: Maintain accurate client records, update account information, and process orders, forms, or applications.
  • Relationship building: Foster strong, positive relationships with clients, which may involve follow-up calls or visits to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Internal collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Process improvement: Provide feedback on service processes and contribute to identifying operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed reports on service levels, client feedback, and issues to inform management and drive improvements.
