**NOTE - This role is an office-based role in Pune ** Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy healthcare professional to join our team as an AI Operations Annotator. Drawing on your clinical knowledge and passion for medical data, you will help build, refine, and optimize AI-based solutions in the healthcare domain. This role combines hands-on annotation , quality control , and process improvement , ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. Responsibilities Medical Data Annotation: Leverage your clinical background to annotate patient records, discharge summaries, clinical trials, and other medical data. Quality Assurance: Maintain high production standards, ensuring thorough reviews of annotated data for consistency and compliance with client protocols. Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with peers and leadership to update workflows, incorporate evolving protocols, and refine annotation processes for maximum efficiency. AI Tools & Technology: Use advanced annotation tools (e.g., Doccano) and EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) to streamline data curation and annotation. Familiarity with SQL or basic data querying is a plus. Communication & Collaboration: Provide regular feedback on data discrepancies, interface with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely and clear communication of project requirements. Certification & Training: Complete required certification courses in medical records annotation, stay current on changing guidelines, and support ongoing team training initiatives. Requirements Educational Background: BDS (Dentistry), B.Sc./M.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm/M.Pharm, or any related healthcare field. Additional certifications or training in Medical Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or Data Annotation is a strong advantage. Clinical/Operational Experience: At least 2 years of combined experience in clinical practice, healthcare operations, or medical data annotation. Exposure to hospital, clinical, or dental settings, with an understanding of reading and interpreting medical records. Technical Skills: Proficiency in English (verbal and written). Comfortable with annotation tools, EHR systems, and basic data-curation processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar for documentation and reporting. Bonus: Experience with SQL or other data management tools. Core Competencies: Attention to Detail: Ability to review, interpret, and annotate medical data accurately. Analytical Thinking: Adept at problem-solving and spotting inconsistencies in clinical data. Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment where protocols can shift quickly. Teamwork & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, open to collaboration, and proactive about sharing feedback.
