Job Title: Claims Specialist. Work Mode: Office ( R System Office ) Location: Pune , Bavdhan , Ramnagar Education: Graduate. Experience: 1-4 years. Skills: Charge Posting, Payment Posting, Medical Billing , Cash Entry , Cash Posting. Have a good understanding of US Healthcare medical billing rules, abbreviations, and state specific insurance guidelines. Familiarity with using Payer Portals for viewing and downloading Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). Key Responsibilities: Accurate entry of Patient Demographic information as provided in medical records. Charge Entry should be done according to the procedures mentioned on record. Apply medical billing concepts, Federal and commercial insurance plans including HMO, PPO, and POS guidelines. WC/Auto claims should be handled with the specific guidelines related to the insurance. Verifies all EFT deposits and scanned checks. Proficient in posting insurance and patient payments.
