civil site engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Site Civil Engineer to manage day-to-day site activities, ensure work execution as per approved drawings and specifications, supervise construction teams, and prepare material quantities for billing and procurement. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent understanding of civil engineering drawings, and the ability to implement them effectively at site.

Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee daily on-site activities to ensure smooth and timely progress of work.
• Provide technical guidance to site supervisors, contractors, and workers.
• Ensure that construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor labour productivity and material consumption.

Technical & Drawing Interpretation

• Read, understand, and implement civil/structural drawings at the site.
• Prepare material quantities accurately as per drawings for execution, procurement, and billing.
• Identify discrepancies (if any) in drawings and coordinate for necessary clarifications.
• Ensure adherence to proper construction methodology and approved procedures.

Quality Control & Safety

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.

Quantity Estimation & Billing

• Prepare and record executed work quantities on a regular basis.
• Prepare RA bills, subcontractor bills, and quantity measurement sheets.
• Maintain proper documentation of executed quantities and materials used.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project engineers for smooth workflow.
• Prepare daily progress reports (DPR) and update the project team on work status.
• Attend site meetings and communicate technical instructions clearly.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Preference will be years of relevant experience in building/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings.
• Expertise in material quantity calculation as per drawings.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple site activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
