Role & responsibilities Position Name: Civil Quality Engineer - Solar Qualification: Diploma / BE / Btech. Experience: 5 -7yrs. 1. Planning & Organising: Establishes a course of action for self and/ or team to accomplish a specific goal Estimates and allocates time and given resources based on plan & priorities Monitors progress against plan and identifies gap 2. Result Orientation: Sets stretch goals for self and team and encourages others to do the same. • Drives accountability in team through appropriate actions (involvement in goal setting, motivation, periodic reviews and feedback) 3. People Management: Works effectively with various stake holders Supports team towards achieving a common goal, in line with the business objectives. Provides feedback to take necessary steps for improving performance 4. Leadership Skills: Builds a highly effective team and delegates responsibilities basis efficient utilization of resources Is able to motivate his team towards a common goal. Preferred candidate profile Ensure the project construction progress with agreed schedule and targets. Conduct engineering site survey to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems. Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic (PV) including system components, for residential and commercial buildings. Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives. Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components. Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring. Experience in erection, installation and commissioning in PV power projects & conducting electrical work inspections. System & Component Failure Investigations / Root Cause Analysis. To provide an up-to-date daily status report of site. Day to day management and execution of site, monitoring the workers and the work of contractor. Coordination with vendors. Keeping record of Material and manpower. Should have good Communication and coordination skills and knowledge of Email, MS Excel, word, Power Point working. Comfortable in traveling, required to travel & stay at various Work Location. Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project. Specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards Inspection of material receipt at site and certify the installation.
