Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer at our landscape consulting firm, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing civil infrastructure solutions for various outdoor environments such as parks, urban streetscapes, campuses, and residential or commercial developments. You will collaborate closely with landscape architects, planners, and project managers to ensure the successful integration of civil engineering principles into landscape designs. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with landscape architects to incorporate civil engineering principles into landscape designs. - Design and develop grading, drainage, storm water management, and utility plans. - Prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as environmental standards. - Conduct site inspections and offer engineering support during construction phases. - Coordinate with municipal agencies, clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams. - Perform feasibility studies, site assessments, and hydrology/hydraulic analyses. - Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other civil engineering tools for project execution. Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Civil Engineering is required. - Fresher or minimum of 1 year of experience in civil site development, preferably with exposure to landscape or urban design projects. - Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant engineering software. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. - Understanding of sustainable site design and green infrastructure practices. In addition to the specified qualifications, a working knowledge of plant-soil-water relationships and irrigation design coordination is considered a plus.
