Civil Engineer

As a Marine Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing designs for maritime structures such as piers, wharves, breakwaters, and jetties, as well as related site infrastructure like roadways and utilities. Your key responsibilities will include conducting site surveys and soil investigations, collecting data for design purposes, and using CAD software to produce design calculations, technical specifications, and detailed drawings. In addition, you will oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, manage construction activities, and resolve technical issues as they arise. You will be required to collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines such as geotechnical, structural, and electrical to ensure project success. It will be essential to ensure that designs and projects comply with relevant local regulations, international standards, and best practices. Identifying potential project risks and implementing measures to mitigate them will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing engineering reports, study reports, and presentations for stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position should have expertise in marine engineering, coastal engineering, and structural analysis. You should be familiar with factors affecting the marine environment, including wave patterns, tides, and sediment transport. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and modeling software is required, along with strong technical and commercial acumen to ensure project profitability and timely delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for effectively liaising with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.,
