Civil Engineer Estimator

Job Summary

We are hiring a Civil Engineer with good experience in preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for PWD, PMGSY, National Highways (NH), and NHAI projects. The candidate will handle surveys, design coordination, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and full DPR documentation for road, bridge, and building works as per government standards.

Key Responsibilities
Road DPR (PWD / PMGSY / NH / NHAI)

• Conduct topographic survey, traffic survey, pavement condition survey.
• Study of alignment plan, L-section, cross-sections, road geometry.
• Pavement design as per IRC:37/58/SP72/PMGSY guidelines.
• Study of drainage, CD works, road safety features.
• Prepare BOQ, rate analysis, cost estimates as per MoRTH/State SOR.
• Prepare PMGSY DPR using OMMAS/eMARG formats (if applicable).

Bridge / Culvert DPR

• Study of hydrology, soil investigation, and survey data.
• Prepare GAD, design inputs, foundation recommendations.
• Quantity estimation for substructure & superstructure.
• Prepare cost estimate in MoRTH/State PWD format.

Building DPR (PWD / Government Buildings)

• Review architectural & structural drawings.
• Quantity take-off for RCC, masonry, finishing, electrical, plumbing.
• Prepare BOQ in CPWD/PWD SOR format.
• Feasibility report & site assessment.

Documentation & Submission

• Prepare complete DPR with chapters: introduction, surveys, design report, estimates, drawings, environmental & social aspects, and annexures.
• Ensure compliance with IRC, MoRTH, CPWD, IS codes, PMGSY/NHAI guidelines.
• Coordinate with CAD, survey, design, and project teams.
• Assist with presentations and client communication.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of government DPR formats (PWD, PMGSY, NH, NHAI).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office.
• Understanding of IRC/MoRTH/IS codes.
• Excellent quantity estimation & rate analysis skills.
• Good technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-discipline inputs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• M.Tech in Transportation/Structures (preferred)
• Experience: 0-2 years in DPR preparation for government projects.

Preferred Experience

• PMGSY OMMAS/eMARG DPR
• NHAI/NH Feasibility & DPR stages
• PWD Road/Bridge/Building DPR
• Hydrology & survey interpretation
• BOQ & cost estimate preparation as per State SOR or MoRTH

Freshers having proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office can also apply.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
