Job Description

As a City Lead for our Quick Commerce business, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling business growth, and ensuring a seamless customer experience in your assigned city. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage P&L, and execute strategic initiatives to optimize delivery operations and expand market presence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business & Growth Strategy: Own and drive overall P&L, revenue targets, and market share for the city. Develop and execute strategies to scale order volumes, improve customer acquisition, and increase retention. Identify market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to refine business strategies. 2. Operations & Logistics Management: Oversee last-mile delivery operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. Optimize dark store performance, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency. Collaborate with central teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels. 3. Vendor & Partner Management: Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, fleet partners, and local merchants. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure profitability and smooth operations. 4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team across operations, sales, and customer experience. Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance excellence. Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, product, finance) to align city-level execution with overall business goals. 5. Customer Experience & Compliance: Ensure best-in-class customer experience by monitoring service quality, response times, and issue resolution. Implement compliance and safety protocols in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Key Qualifications & Skills: 5-8 years of experience in operations, logistics, or city management roles (preferably in quick commerce, e-commerce, or hyperlocal delivery). Strong P&L management experience with a data-driven decision-making approach. Ability to lead and manage large teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in analytical tools, dashboards, and performance metrics tracking. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scaling businesses and delivering customer delight.
