Job Description

The City Head is responsible for leading the city-level business and ensuring operational excellence and revenue growth. This role owns the city P&L and is a combination of business development, partner (ashram) management, sales, and on-ground hospitality operations.The ideal candidate is self-driven, disciplined, has strong stakeholder management skills, and understands the spiritual travel or hospitality ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify and onboard ashrams, dharamshalas, and spiritual accommodations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and operational terms with partner ashrams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

Sales & Revenue Accountability

  • Be responsible for achieving sales targets for the city.
  • Drive demand generation activities and actively support sales conversions.
  • Track occupancy, revenue performance, and sales funnel metrics.

City P&L Ownership

  • Drive occupancy, revenue, and cost efficiency targets for the city.
  • Track metrics and operational KPIs, ensuring profitability and growth.

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee end-to-end guest operations including bookings, check-ins, escalations, and on-ground service quality.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed by partner properties.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and post-stay experience.

Systems & Process Implementation

  • Ensure all partner properties are trained and compliant with Company systems and processes.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of operations, contracts, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in business development or hotel/guest operations.
  • Graduate degree is mandatory.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms (CRM, booking systems, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Ability to travel locally and work across multiple partner sites.

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

  • Network and familiarity with the spiritual tourism or pilgrimage hospitality ecosystem.
  • Past experience working with guest houses, ashrams, dharamshalas, or spiritual retreat properties.
