Cisco Nexus Implementation Engineer

Location: 100% Remote (India)

Schedule: US EST Time Zone

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Cisco Nexus Implementation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Execute pre-built
Arista network configurations
and perform hands-on implementation work.
Support
Cisco Nexus
environment builds, upgrades, and automation deployments.
Run and validate
Ansible playbooks
, ensuring successful execution and troubleshooting any errors.
Collaborate with the network architecture and operations teams to deliver consistent, reliable implementations.
Monitor and verify successful network changes and perform post-deployment validation.
Maintain accurate implementation documentation and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively across global teams, aligning with
US EST time zone
operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
7+ years of hands-on experience
with
Cisco Nexus platforms
(9K/7K series).
Strong background in
VXLAN
,
EVPN
, and
MP-BGP
configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with
Ansible
for automation and deployment validation.
Basic understanding of
Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP)
.
Ability to identify and resolve issues during automation runs and configuration execution.
Solid understanding of
Layer 2/3 networking
,
data center topologies
, and
network automation concepts
.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Arista experience
(configuration, deployment, or CVP integration).
Exposure to
Python scripting
or network automation frameworks.
Familiarity with enterprise or cloud-scale network environments.
