Chinese Language Consultant

In this role, you’ll evaluate and refine AI model outputs derived from Chinese-language prompts to ensure linguistic fluency, cultural accuracy, and contextual relevance.

This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge AI systems, experimenting with tools such as Gemini’s image and video generation models. You’ll help identify and document linguistic and cultural nuances that enhance future model performance and reduce AI misinterpretations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and critique AI-generated images and videos based on Chinese-language prompts for accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness.
• Provide detailed linguistic and cultural feedback to guide AI model improvements.
• Detect and correct translation inaccuracies and culturally sensitive issues.
• Experiment with Gemini and other multimodal AI tools to test and refine prompt behavior.
• Document inconsistencies, edge cases, and failure modes to inform future model iterations.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and technical teams to improve linguistic alignment in AI-generated outputs.

Qualifications / Skills Required

• Full professional fluency in

  Mandarin Chinese

  and

  English

  (spoken and written).
• Deep understanding of

  Chinese culture

  , idiomatic expressions, and regional language diversity.
• Familiarity with

  contemporary Chinese media

  , pop culture, and online trends.
• Strong attention to linguistic detail and ability to communicate clear feedback.

Work Location

Salary Range

• $28 – $33 USD per hour
