- We are hiring on behalf of our customer, who is building KLAP — a high-velocity microdrama / short-form storytelling platform.

- We are looking for a CTO who already understands short-form video platforms, creator tools, streaming backends, AI-driven content workflows, and high-scale consumer apps.

- Someone who can hit the ground running — not someone who needs months to understand the category.

Role Overview

- As the CTO, you will architect and scale a short-form video platform, build AI/ML content pipelines, design recommendation systems, and lead the 0→1 engineering journey of a next-gen storytelling app.

- This role requires deep product intuition, user psychology understanding, and a builder-first mindset.

What You Will Lead

- Scalable video platforms & streaming backends

- AI/ML content pipelines, personalization & ranking systems

- Creator tools, interactive content workflows & production systems

- High-performance consumer-app architecture

- 0→1 engineering roadmap with rapid experimentation

- Distributed systems for video creation, editing & delivery

Ideal Profile

Technical Experience:

- Strong engineering background (Ivy League / Stanford / MIT / CMU / IIT or equivalent is a plus)

Experience with:

- Short-form video apps

- Creator economy platforms

- Streaming / OTT systems

- AI-driven content pipelines

- Recommendation engines

- Video processing / encoding

Consumer & Product Depth:

- Built or scaled B2C consumer apps

- Strong product-engineering intuition

- Understanding of engagement loops, retention & storytelling systems

Startup Mindset:

- Founder-style ownership

- Hands-on builder

- Thrives in high-velocity, 0→1 environments
