Job Description

We are hiring for the role of Chief - Process Plant Operations : Plan and execute daily production based on targets. Analyze plant equipment status and work with maintenance teams for predictive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability. Address process parameter deviations (e.g., pressure management) and guide corrective actions. Review key production parameters, such as brick condition, raw mill fan RPM, and grinding media condition. Implement system/process improvements to optimize production and reduce costs, like introducing new technologies. Regularly interact with internal stakeholders and occasionally with external vendors and contractors. Process Excellence : Identify initiatives for optimizing costs and processes. Drive initiatives like Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to achieve cost efficiencies and quality improvements. Ensure adherence to norms on power utilization, quality, production, and emissions. Manage uptime maximization for key plant equipment (e.g., kiln, mill). Execute both internal and external projects effectively, ensuring safety and conflict resolution. Employee Engagement & Safety : Promote a zero-lost-time-accident culture through the strict implementation of safety guidelines. Foster a focus on environment, health, and safety. Strengthen team engagement and build a positive work environment. Success Profile : Education : B.Tech or Diploma from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college with 25+ years of experience. Experience : 20-25 years in process management in a cement or related plant with expertise in plant operations, process optimization, and shutdown/project commissioning activities. Knowledge of tools like Six Sigma and TPM is essential. Competencies : Behavioral : Strong people management, influencing, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with strategic thinking and stakeholder management. Technical : Expertise in production management, project management, quality systems, and safety/sustainability protocols. Personality Traits : Collaborative, empathetic, curious, creative, and detail-oriented with strong integrity and sound judgment.
