A J HOSPITAL & RESEARCH CENTER is looking for Chief Imaging Technologist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Department Leadership : Provide leadership and direction to the radiology department's staff, including radiologic technologists, radiographers, and support personnel. Personnel Management : Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of department staff to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient workflow. Equipment and Technology : Manage the acquisition, maintenance, and proper use of imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and other radiologic technology. Quality Assurance : Develop and implement quality assurance programs to maintain and improve the quality and safety of diagnostic imaging services, including the performance of regular equipment checks. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that the radiology department complies with all relevant healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements. Patient Care : Focus on patient care and satisfaction by monitoring patient feedback, addressing concerns, and continuously improving the quality of radiologic services. Radiologic Protocols : Establish and enforce radiologic protocols and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate image acquisition and patient safety. Continuing Education : Support the ongoing professional development and training of radiologic technologists to keep them updated on the latest technologies and best practices. Radiologic Examinations : Oversee the performance of radiologic examinations, ensuring proper patient positioning and image quality. Radiologic Interpretation : Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure that imaging results are accurately interpreted and reported. Budget Management : Develop and manage the radiology department's budget, allocating resources efficiently and controlling costs. Emergency Management : Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for the radiology department, particularly in cases of equipment malfunctions or patient emergencies. Health Information Management : Ensure the accurate and secure management of patient radiology records, images, and healthcare information systems. Technology Advancements : Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and recommend updates or replacements of equipment when necessary.
