Job Overview
The Chief Executive Advisor (CEA) is a senior strategic advisor and trusted consultant to the CEO, responsible for providing neutral and in-depth strategic advice, assisting in determining the company's development direction, participating in senior management decision-making, and coordinating resources to drive breakthroughs for the organization at critical stages. The CEA does not directly undertake day-to-day management tasks, but rather provides forward-looking thinking, leadership advice, and senior management relationship coordination from an "external brain" perspective.
Core Responsibilities
I. Strategic Consulting and CEO Support
Provide the CEO with high-level consulting opinions on corporate strategy, capital structure, organizational optimization, and market layout.
Participate in board meetings, strategic discussions, and business reviews, providing independent judgment and analysis.
Assist the CEO in identifying blind spots and act as a strategic thought dialogue partner. Partner
II. Major Decision-Making and Crisis Assessment
Provide judgment support during sensitive periods such as major transformations, crises, public relations challenges, or mergers and acquisitions.
Analyze internal and external environments and influencing factors to assist the CEO in making timely and sound decisions.
Coordinate external advisory resources such as legal, public relations, and investment banking professionals, acting as a bridge for cross-industry communication.
III. Organizational Development and Senior Management Communication
Provide structured advice to the CEO on senior management succession planning, performance management, and succession planning.
Participate in or chair key senior management meetings to help the CEO improve cross-departmental collaboration efficiency.
Assist in handling sensitive matters such as senior management conflicts and organizational culture changes.
IV. External Relations and High-End Resource Coordination
Represent or assist the CEO in handling strategic dialogues with governments, investors, key clients, or industry associations.
Coordinate communication between the CEO and external advisors, auditors, investors, media, and other resources. Strategy
Provide insights and risk warnings regarding ESG, policy regulation, and global trends.
V. Special Project Leadership and Promotion
Under the CEO's authorization, lead strategic special projects (such as corporate restructuring, international expansion, and new business incubation).
Provide research, validation, and implementation plans for significant business model changes.
Track project progress to ensure deliverables and risk control.
Qualifications
Education Background
Master's degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Strategic Management, Law, Public Affairs, or related fields.
MBA, Juris Doctor, or PhD in Management/Economics preferred.
Work Experience
At least 18 years of experience in corporate strategy, CEO's office, consulting firms, investment banking, or senior management.
Preferred candidates include those who have served as CEO, CSO, COO, Managing Director of an investment bank, or consulting partner.
Familiar with cross-industry operations, possessing an international perspective and a strong business network.
