Job Description

JOB PURPOSE To strategize, plan and drive the future of business goals enabled by technology, architecting and leading digital transformation in all areas of business inclusive of people, processes, culture and mindset and to improve the digital maturity of the organization. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES : Develop digital roadmap strategy and technology architecture for the organization: Align with strategic initiatives in the organization Collaborate with leadership team and key stakeholders within their team Identify digital projects/ initiatives and plan their execution in a phased manner Get buy-in from the functional leaders and management Architect the technology architecture for future of NEI business Ensure the execution of digital initiatives within time and budget : Timely review and governance Develop an ecosystem of strategic technology vendor partners to ensure optimal execution of digital projects : Identify the correct technology solution Evaluate and identify the right vendor partner Maintain & manage vendor relationships Coach and advise the organization on digital way forward: Bring the outside-in perspective Share thought leadership Awareness and knowhow on digital projects Internal and external marketing of digital Building Team and Team Management & Development : Identify the skill sets needed Build a team with digital capability and skillsets required Train & coach Allocate and review work of Team Ensure identification of training needs of each team member Ensure participation of each member of team for training programs Plan & review development and deployment of e-modules for learning Deploy and monitor system of skill development projects for translation of learning to skills Represent organization with external stakeholders : Participate and represent organization at institutional bodies such as CII, NASSCOOM etc. Interact with customers, prospects, analysts, media Participate in forums and conference events Educational Qualifications / Technical Training/ Certifications BE/ B. Tech. with MBA Business Analytics Digital Transformation Certification from a leading institute Experience 15 plus years of experience in technology and business in relevant industry such as automotive, bearings, manufacturing (discrete manufacturing preferred) Must have led large digital transformation projects in global or Indian manufacturing industry either in a consulting role or digital transformation role and understands both business process and technology in manufacturing industry either in a consulting role or digital transformation Show more Show less
