Job Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a team of Structural design Coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
• Foster a collaborative work environment to enhance productivity and morale within the team.
• Oversee the development of career growth plans for team members and encourage professional development.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Architecture, MEP, Project Management, Site) to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  

• Provide leadership in the planning and execution of structural design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Engage with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on structural design matters.
• Collaborate with Design Coordinators to allocate resources and track project progress. ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of design quality.
• Review the works of Internal Team Member ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and client specifications.
• Lead the design process for complex or high-profile projects, providing innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems.
• Ensure the use of industry-standard software and technologies for structural analysis and design.
• Manage and mitigate risks associated with design errors or omissions and ensure that designs meet budget and schedule expectations.
• Oversee the preparation of reports, specifications, and documentation required for regulatory approvals.
• Drive continuous improvement in structural design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices, and integrate these into the organization's design processes.
• Encourage the adoption of innovative and cost-effective design solutions.

• Good Knowledge of structural design software e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, Prokon, SAP, RAM Concept
• BIM : Exposure to 3D Software like Revit / Navisworks / AutoCAD will be an added advantage
