Your role is pivotal in shaping FlytBase's future by focusing on business development, revenue growth, and the overall success of the sales function. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Business Development:** - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand FlytBase's market presence. - Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and increase market share. - **Strategic Planning:** - Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement the company's overall business strategy. - Provide insights and recommendations on market trends, competitive landscapes, and areas for innovation. - **Partnership Management:** - Build and nurture strategic relationships with key industry partners, customers, and stakeholders. - Negotiate and structure partnerships aligning with FlytBase's goals and objectives. - **Sales Leadership:** - Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing sales team. - Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies focusing on achieving sales targets. - **Fundraising:** - Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital for company growth. - Work closely with the CEO to engage with investors, venture capitalists, and partners for funding and alliances. - **Financial Oversight:** - Oversee financial planning and resource allocation supporting business growth and sales initiatives. - **Team Leadership:** - Provide strong leadership to the business development and sales teams, emphasizing building and nurturing the sales function. - Foster a collaborative and innovative culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven track record of at least 10 years in business development, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and executive leadership roles. - Strong understanding of the technology and preferably the drone industry landscape. - Extensive experience working with international customers, partners, and stakeholders. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, achieve business targets, secure funding, and lead high-performing sales teams. - Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. - Bachelors degree in engineering or science, followed by a Masters degree or extensive experience in business, marketing, or related field. **About FlytBase:** At FlytBase, we are on a zero-to-one journey to unlock the world's third dimension with fully autonomous drones.
