Job Description

Job Purpose As a Trainee Chemist, you will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory experiments, conducting field trials, gathering and analyzing technical data, and contributing to the design of performance-driven enzyme and yeast solutions. You will work closely with the technical, sales, and customer teams to bridge the gap between R&D and commercial implementation. Key Responsibilities Laboratory Work: Conduct day-to-day lab experiments related to enzyme and yeast applications. Record observations and maintain accurate lab notebooks and data logs. Field Trials & Customer Engagement: Attend and support on-site product trials at customer locations across India. Collect process samples during trials, conduct on-the-spot testing where required. Collaborate with the sales and technical team during field visits. Data Management & Reporting: Analyze samples and compile technical data into standardized lab/trial reports. Summarize trial outcomes, highlight performance parameters, and prepare conclusion reports outlining what worked and what didn’t. Present findings and reports to internal stakeholders and clients. Technical Collaboration: Assist in developing or modifying products based on market and trial feedback. Coordinate with the sales team to deliver customer-specific solutions. Support in market requirement identification through customer visits and research. Stakeholder Communication: Present and explain technical concepts and trial outcomes to both internal teams and external clients in a structured and professional manner. Continuous Improvement: Work on improving product applications and support services. Bring a proactive approach to troubleshooting and on-ground problem solving. Ideal Candidate Profile Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field. Experience: Freshers welcome. Internship or project experience in analytical work, fermentation, or enzyme technology is a plus. Skills: Strong interest in applied industrial chemistry or biotechnology. Good data handling, basic statistical understanding, and MS Excel skills. Comfortable with travelling for trials (25-50% travel as required). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setup.
