Chemical Manager

Role Overview

The Chemical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all chemical operations, ensuring quality standards, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting process optimization for minerals and chemical products. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage chemical processes related to mineral beneficiation, treatment, and product development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all chemical operations.
• Oversee quality control and testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Work with R&D teams to develop and improve chemical formulations and processes.
• Optimize cost, efficiency, and sustainability of chemical operations.
• Maintain documentation for audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
• Train and mentor chemical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, and business teams for seamless operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in chemical or mineral industries, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of mineral processing, chemical treatments, and industrial chemical applications.
• Familiarity with ISO, BIS, and environmental standards.
• Experience in handling audits, compliance, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
