Chemical Cleaning Technician

Job Summary: We are currently looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Chemical Cleaning Technician to join our industrial services team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing chemical cleaning procedures on heat exchangers, pipelines, boilers, and other industrial equipment. Knowledge of handling chemicals safely and operating cleaning systems is essential. Key Responsibilities: Perform chemical cleaning of industrial systems, equipment, and pipelines using approved procedures. Prepare and handle chemical solutions according to technical specifications and safety guidelines. Operate pumps, hoses, tanks, and other equipment involved in the chemical cleaning process. Assist in system flushing, passivation, and neutralization activities as required. Monitor cleaning progress and maintain accurate records of cleaning parameters and operations. Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with company safety standards and environmental regulations. Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Perform housekeeping and proper disposal of chemicals and waste as per company policy. Requirements: 2–3 years of relevant experience in industrial chemical cleaning. Strong understanding of industrial chemicals and their safe handling. Familiarity with chemical cleaning procedures, such as acid cleaning, alkaline cleaning, and degreasing. Ability to read and follow technical procedures and safety data sheets (SDS). Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces and elevated areas. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and during shutdowns or turnarounds. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or technical certificate in chemical, mechanical, or industrial discipline. Valid training or certification in chemical handling, confined space entry, and HAZMAT (if applicable). Experience in oil & gas, power plant, or industrial maintenance projects is a plus.
