Job Title: Cook – Corporate Guest House Location: [Insert Location] Reports To: Guest House Manager / Facility Manager Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to manage and prepare meals for guests at our corporate guest house. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and cooking a variety of meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) that meet high standards of quality and hygiene while catering to the tastes and dietary preferences of our corporate visitors. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals (Indian/continental/other as required) for guest house residents. Plan daily/weekly menus in consultation with the manager and guests. Ensure food is served in a timely and appealing manner. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining area in compliance with food safety standards. Manage kitchen inventory and procure fresh ingredients as needed. Monitor and control food wastage and manage portion sizes. Ensure proper storage and handling of all food items. Accommodate special dietary needs or requests from guests. Assist in organizing food service during corporate events or VIP stays. Maintain records of daily meals, consumption, and kitchen expenses. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a guest house, hotel, or corporate setting. Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques. Certification in food handling and hygiene (preferred). Ability to manage kitchen operations independently. Strong time management and organizational skills. Personal Attributes: Clean, well-groomed, and presentable. Good communication skills. Honest, punctual, and courteous. High standards of personal and kitchen hygiene.
