Chartered Accountant Taxation & Equity Research (Fresher)

As a Chartered Accountant at 1% Club, you will play a crucial role in personal taxation and stock market analysis. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in individual income tax return (ITR) preparation and filing. - Calculating and reviewing capital gains taxation for equities, mutual funds, and real estate. - Handling tax implications for ESOPs and RSUs, both domestic and international. - Possessing a basic understanding of NRI taxation, particularly around NRE/NRO accounts, taxes on Indian income, and related compliance. - Supporting in fundamental and/or technical stock analysis. - Interpreting compensation structure of clients and advising on tax regime to be followed. - Participating in client meetings or calls with advisors to provide taxation inputs when required. - Working closely with the advisory team to ensure tax-efficient investment strategies. Qualifications and Skills required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). - 01 year of experience in taxation or personal finance (freshers are welcome). - Up-to-date knowledge of Indian income tax laws and practical understanding of ITR filing. - Understanding of capital gains, ESOPs, RSUs, and NRE/NRO taxation basics. - Ability to analyze financial statements for stock research. - Proficiency in Excel and tax computation tools/software. - Based in Mumbai. Preferred Attributes: - Interest or exposure in personal financial planning or wealth management. - Strong interest in stock markets and investment analysis. - A proactive learner with good communication and analytical skills. - Certification like CFA, CFP, or related finance courses will be an added advantage.
