Job Description

Accounting and Auditing • Auditing - Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions. • Assisting and preparing the audit checklist, Tax audit report, ensuring that statements and records comply with laws and regulations. • Scrutinizing all records, documentation and other matters relevant to the preparation of the financial statements. • Analyze , Review and Resolve Accounting discrepancies. • Assisting in preparation of Computation of Income and Filling of Income Tax Returns Others • Reckoners & India Opporunities - Research work related to Domestic Taxation, International Taxation, FEMA, Service Tax and Company Law for Bugdet related documents. • Peer Review - to examine and review of the systems and procedures to determine whether they have been put in place for ensuring the quality of work whether these were effective or not during the period under review. • Follow up for rectification application with IT officer regarding refund cases. Additional Responsibilities: • Filling of necessary documents/ Information with the Government Authorities for Incorporation/ Registration/ Formation of Company. • Registration/ Application for PAN Card, TAN, Service Tax, GST, PT, Bombay Shop & Establishment. • Preparation of Computation of Income and filling of Income Tax Returns. • Filling Profession Tax Returns • Filling Service Tax Return • ROC Forms (Annual Forms + Additional Forms) • Filling TDS Return • Attending/ Assisting for Tax Hearings. • Drafting Letters/ Submissions/ Compilation regarding Tax Matters. • Calculating Advance Tax for the client
