Job Description: Indirect Tax Associate / Executive

Position: Indirect Tax – Associate
Experience: 0-1 year

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle GST compliances, returns, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Assist in advisory matters related to GST, Customs, and Foreign Trade Policy.
• Review transactions and provide tax-efficient solutions to clients.
• Prepare replies to notices, SCNs, audit queries, and departmental communications.
• Support in drafting appeals and other submission documents.
• Research relevant circulars, notifications, and case laws.
• Coordinate with tax authorities for assessments, audits, and hearings.
• Prepare periodic indirect tax updates for clients and internal teams.
• Work closely with seniors/partners to understand client issues and deliver practical solutions.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of GST law and related regulations.
• Good drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret legal provisions and case laws.
• Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
