Job Description

Role Summary

Youll post professional/facility charges accurately and on time, ensuring correct codes, modifiers, and billing details so claims pass scrubbing on the first attempt. This is a hands-on execution role with daily productivity and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

Post daily charges from super-bills/encounter forms/EMR exports within TAT.
Verify patient demographics, insurance, rendering/billing provider, POS, units, NPI/Taxonomy, charge amounts.
Clear scrubber edits; create/submit claims after posting; avoid duplicates.
Reconcile encounters to schedules/reports; track missing info and follow up with Front Desk/Coding.
Maintain daily posting logs; support audits and month-end close.
Follow SOPs; maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate account notes.

Required Qualifications

1+ year US healthcare charge entry/charge posting experience (multi-speciality preferred).
Good written and verbal English communication for clear updates/escalations.
Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10 basics, POS, and common payer rules.
Comfort with EMR/PM and clearinghouse tools (e.g., Athena, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, NextGen, Epic).
Excel/Google Sheets basics (filters, lookups, pivots a plus).
