Chair Side Dental Assistant

Job Summary: The Chairside Dental Assistant supports the dentist during all phases of dental treatment. This role involves preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, maintaining treatment rooms, and ensuring smooth, efficient clinical operations. The assistant plays a key role in providing excellent patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures. Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatment procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, impressions). Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatory surfaces according to infection control protocols. Hand instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures. Take, develop, and mount dental X-rays as directed. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and treatment notes. Manage dental materials and supplies, ensuring availability and proper inventory control. Provide patients with postoperative instructions and oral hygiene education. Ensure patient comfort and provide reassurance throughout procedures.
