Job Description: The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This includes financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, risk management and investor relations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in financial leadership, preferably within a high-growth environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence. Roles Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement the company s financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives. This includes defining key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and establishing long-term financial goals. Financial Operations Management: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Manage the finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis. Exhibit proficiency in handling complex financial transactions especially in import-export trade. Fundraising and Investor Relations: Lead the financial due diligence process for fundraising activities and manage relationships with investors. This includes demonstrable experience in leading or playing a significant role in successful fundraising rounds, including due diligence, investor presentations and negotiations. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Treasury and Risk Management: Manage the company s cash flow and working capital. Oversee risk management and internal controls, ensuring the company s financial assets are protected. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to achieve company-wide objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Skills: Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
